GPtents Frequently Asked Questions – FAQ

  • Can I pay by credit card?

    You can either pay in advance (via bank transfer) or upon arrival with your credit card or cash in each location.
    We accept MasterCard and VISA. We do not accept American Express and Diners Club cards.
    We accept the payment in EUR.

  • What mattresses do you use in the tents?

    We use very comfortable foam mattresses. The tent is also equipped with bed linen and towels to provide a hotel standard.

  • What is the price of a tent? Do I have to pay for something extra on-site?

    The price is different for each location. It goes around 400€. The price includes a luxury tent for two people fully equipped with pillows, duvets, towels, soap. The sanitary facilities, parking (if you book on our website), and breakfast are included in the final price. In some locations, there is also wifi and power banks available for no extra costs. We offer camping tables and chairs for an extra fee.

  • How can I get to your campsite?

    Full address, Maps, and GPS location details are available via the relevant website page of the location. Few weeks before your arrival, you will receive our guide with travel information in your email.

  • When can I check-in and check out?

    Each day from Thursday until Monday, you can check-in from 2 pm until 10 pm and check out until 10 am. However, do not panic if you need to check in sooner or later – write us an email or call us, and we will figure something out. During F1 and MotoGP, check in is possible from morning. Check out is strict no later than 10 AM, we are packing stuff and heading to next race.

  • Can I check out after the race?

    No, we need you to empty your tent and check out before the race until 10 in the morning. You can leave the car with your stuff in the camping, or if you are leaving by taxi or train, you can leave your baggage at the reception until the end of the race. You can fully use the camping area after the check-out.

  • Is your campsite safe?

    GPtents staff is present at the camping all the time and patrols the site but cannot be everywhere at one time. Therefore, it is better to take valuable things with you or leave them locked in your vehicle. GPtents is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to property and persons, etc., during your stay.

  • Where do I park my car?

    The parking place is always situated in designated areas in the camping, close to the tents.

  • How do I check-in?

    When you arrive, please go to the GPtents reception with your booking confirmation. The receptionist will ask you to fill in the accommodation card. After filling it, you are required to pay for the accommodation, if not paid in advance. You will also receive a tent lock with keys and a wristband for each member of your party. These need to be worn for the duration of your stay. If lost or damaged, replacement wristbands are available at reception.

  • How do I check out?

    On check out, please ensure your tent is clean and tidy, and return to reception with the tent lock by 10 in the morning. GPtents staff will check your tent, and if there is no damage, the deposit will be returned to you at the check-out.

  • Do you require any deposit for the tent or equipment?

    Yes. Following our bad experience, we kindly ask you to pay a 100 EUR deposit on your arrival after your check out. If there is no damage, the deposit will be returned to you at the check-out. It must be in CASH to speed up the process.

  • Do you have toilets and hot showers on-site?

    Yes, all our campsites have these sanitary facilities. There are enough toilets and showers with hot water for all our clients. We clean them regularly.

  • Is there a restaurant or a bar in the camping area?

    Some of our campsites offer a bar and a restaurant. Please see our site-specific webpage for more information.

  • Can I have electricity in my pre-erected tent?

    You can borrow our GPtents power banks to charge your phone for a 20€ deposit. 🙂 But plug in your tent is not possible.

  • What is included in the pre-erected tents?

    We provide two comfortable single foam mattresses, two duvets, two pillows, bed linen, two towels, a camping lamp, and a shampoo/shower gel.

  • Is the camping loud at night?

    From midnight to 6 am, we kindly ask our guests to keep the voices and music down so that all guests can have a good night’s sleep.

  • Is breakfast included?

    Yes. At every destination, we provide an excellent breakfast for our customers. You can get coffee, tea, juice, and water, something sweet such as cereals and cakes, bread with cheese, ham and more, fruit and vegetables.

  • Do you provide tables and chairs for rent?

    We offer chairs and tables in limited numbers only. Ask at the reception upon arrival. The price for rent for the whole stay is 25€.

  • What if the event will be canceled or held behind a closed door?

    We do not ask you to pay for your accommodation upfront if you do not book 3+ tents.
    In case the event will be without spectators, the booking is automatically canceled.
    If the event will go as planned, but your plans will change, please, make sure that you will cancel your booking max 14 days before the arrival date.
